- I have said that they should get a pit bull and I still say that. Whatever they get I hope they do their research on the breed. Hopefully it is not a small dog. I love all dogs but small dogs can be hurt easier then a big dog. I have had boxers, rotts, hounds, pit bulls, chows, etc. before.

- I think he should adopt a pit bull from a shelter. If a pit bull can live in the white house then people might change thier views on them. They are wonderful dogs and mine just LOVES my 5 year old cousin. She was abused as a puppy and arrived at the animal shetler with cigarette burns on her body.

I agree with you about the Pit Bull for the Obama's, although I use the term American Bulldog, which is actually a little bit different breed. But I think President Obama should have a big, dignified, manly sort of dog, and I know I have just loved my pit bull types and my American Bulldogs.
